1. Introduction

Welcome to Aeross Journal, a student-led multidisciplinary academic journal operated under the Aeross Club and supervised by a faculty adviser. By accessing, browsing, or using this website in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and any additional policies referenced herein. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of the website immediately. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Aeross Journal.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Aeross Journal is a student-led multidisciplinary academic journal primarily operated by high school students and supervised by a faculty teacher-in-charge. The platform exists for educational, research, and informational purposes only. It is not a commercial publication and does not provide professional, legal, medical, financial, or any other form of licensed professional advice. Nothing published on this platform should be construed as such.

While the journal is primarily oriented toward high school-level academic work, submissions are accepted from individuals of any age or background, subject to the editorial and content standards outlined in these Terms.

3. User Accounts

Users may create accounts to submit papers, access platform features, and manage their profiles. By creating an account, you represent that:

  • All information you provide during registration is accurate, current, and complete.
  • You are either (a) at least 13 years of age, or (b) are accessing the platform with the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
  • You will keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with any third party.

You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Aeross Journal is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your login credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, you must notify us promptly.

4. Paper Submissions

By submitting a paper or any other content to Aeross Journal, you confirm and warrant that:

  • The submitted work is your own original work, or you have obtained explicit written permission from all co-authors and rights holders to submit it on their behalf.
  • The submission has not been previously published elsewhere in the same or substantially similar form, and is not currently under review by another publication, unless clearly disclosed at the time of submission.
  • The submission does not infringe upon any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, or other intellectual property right of any person or entity.
  • The submission does not contain plagiarized content. All sources, quotations, data, and ideas that are not your own are properly cited in accordance with standard academic conventions.
  • The information and findings presented are accurate and honestly reported to the best of your knowledge. Data has not been fabricated, falsified, or manipulated.
  • The submission does not contain content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or otherwise harmful.
  • If your research involved human subjects or other forms of ethical review, appropriate approvals or disclosures have been obtained and noted in the submission.

Aeross Journal reserves the right to reject, remove, retract, or request revisions to any submission at its sole discretion, including where the submission is found to violate these Terms, fail editorial standards, or raise concerns of academic misconduct. Submission does not guarantee publication.

5. Intellectual Property

Authors retain full ownership of the copyright to their submitted work. Aeross Journal does not claim ownership over submitted content.

By submitting content, you grant Aeross Journal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, publish, archive, reproduce, and distribute the content on the platform and in any associated promotional or archival materials, for the duration of the platform's operation. This licence does not restrict you from republishing or submitting the work elsewhere.

All website design, branding, logos, and original platform content produced by the Aeross Journal team remain the intellectual property of Aeross Journal and may not be reproduced without permission.

6. Prohibited Conduct

By using this platform, you agree not to:

  • Upload or transmit malicious software, viruses, or any harmful or disruptive code.
  • Impersonate any individual, organization, or entity, including Aeross Journal staff or faculty.
  • Submit plagiarized, fabricated, fraudulent, or AI-generated content without clear disclosure where required by submission guidelines.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform, its servers, or the accounts of other users.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the functionality, security, or integrity of the website.
  • Harvest or collect personal data of other users without their consent.
  • Use the platform for any commercial purpose without prior written approval from Aeross Journal.
  • Post or submit content that is defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, sexually explicit, or otherwise in violation of applicable law.

Violations of this section may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to relevant authorities or institutional bodies.

Aeross Journal publishes submitted papers for educational and informational purposes only. The journal does not independently verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or validity of any content submitted by users or authors.

All opinions, findings, conclusions, and recommendations expressed in published papers are solely those of the respective authors and do not represent the views of Aeross Journal, the Aeross Club, or any affiliated school or institution.

Readers should exercise their own judgment when engaging with content published on this platform. Aeross Journal accepts no responsibility for decisions made in reliance on information published herein.

8. Account Suspension and Termination

Aeross Journal reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently remove any user account, with or without prior notice, where we have reasonable grounds to believe that:

  • The user has violated any provision of these Terms & Conditions.
  • Continued access poses a risk to the integrity, security, or reputation of the platform or its users.
  • The account was created with false or misleading information.

Users who believe their account was suspended in error may contact the Aeross Journal team to request a review.
